this small bud vase is a one-of-a-kind piece. the glaze is not commercially available, and the color variations occurred in the kiln and are not replicable.

this bud vase displays a dynamic blend of deep reds mottled with white patches. the white patches on the vase are a result of "flashing." flashing is a phenomenon in the pottery world that refers to the varying colors and effects on the surface of a ceramic piece, which result from the unique conditions inside the kiln during the firing process.

due to the unique nature of this piece, this is the only one that will be available, and I cannot accept requests for duplicates.

care:

ceramic care is essential for longevity. if this piece needs to be cleaned, handwashing is recommended. avoid sudden temperature changes and extreme heat to prevent cracks.
